Lean back and relax

Today is the seventh day of Yara being in heat. Time to test the progesterone!

At 7 AM this morning Yara and I were headed towards the clinic. When we arrived it was clear we weren’t the only ones, so we had to wait for our turn for a little bit. Some blood was taken and Yara got an internal exam. After that we went home again to sit next to the phone. The results take a little while so the clinic calls a few hours later.

At 10 AM I received their phone call with the results, Yara het progesterone levels are still very low, 0.2. The result must be minimum 5.0 or higher for us to plan our trip. This will take a while! The clinic advised us to test again on tuesday. We already made an appointment. At least we can celebrate Christmas without stress!
