Lucy day 21
One-third! How incredibly fast but unbelievably slow at the same time. Today is 21 days after ovulation. If Lucy conceived the fetusses are about 5-10 millimeter in length and will grow to 14-15 millimeter in the coming week. The organs start to develop. Still the fetusses are very vulnerable. From the mating until now a lot has happened! In the video you can see an overview from the mating until day 20, yesterday. As you can see at the end of the video the fetusses are really taking shape now!
Still everything goes well with Lucy. She sleeps and cuddles a lot. Normally the girls chase each other around the house half of the day, this now happens sporadically. Het appetite is what you can call healthy. She is very eager on her food.
Tuesday, day 19, it seemed like Lucy had a bit of stomach ache. She did not really want to lay down on her belly. It is not a weird timing, this is the period that the fetusses attach to the uterine wall, I can imagine this is not a nice feeling. Luckily it only lasted for one day and she is not bothered by it anymore.
Lucy is also weighed and measured again this week:
Gewicht | Omvang laatste rib | Omvang voor achterpoten | |
---|---|---|---|
Day 0 | 11.7 kg | 42 cm | 38.5 cm |
Day 7 | 11.9 kg | 43 cm | 39 cm |
Day 14 | 11.8 kg | 44 cm | 39.5 cm |
Day 21 | 11.9 kg | 44.5 cm | 40.5 cm |
Slowly but surely the numbers are creeping up. Her weight maintains around the same number, she added 200 grams since the beginning.
Normally Lucy has a teeny tiny waist. Her shape seems to change. When we see her from above she looks wider. She has also lost a bit of tuck up. The skin around her lowest nipples is looser again.
